Her story in five stones
Every chapter, a different facet.
Tap a stone to move through the chapters that shaped Damali, from Brooklyn to Brazil to behavior science.
Roots
Born in Brooklyn, NY to Jamaican immigrant parents, Damali grew up with a first-generation hunger to understand people: what drives them, what holds them back, and what it actually takes to help someone change.

Service
In the wake of 9/11 she answered a call to serve and became a Special Education teacher in New York City. Teaching students with complex needs showed her that behavior is something to understand, not something to manage.
Courage
Her entrepreneurial instinct took over next. She launched a US-based online boutique of women's clothing, swimwear, and accessories sourced from Brazil, and moved there herself to build the brand relationships firsthand.
Mastery
Every chapter deepened the same core. Damali became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a specialization in Organizational Behavior Management, giving a lifelong curiosity a rigorous science.
Purpose
Today she brings that lens to leaders in education, healthcare, and wellness who want to understand why their people do what they do, and to build the conditions that make great work happen.
